The Treviso division of the Italian Alpine Club is a volunteering association of mountaineers: hikers, trekkers, mbikers, skitoures, sportive and alpine climbers. We are regularly part of the national Alpine Association (C.A.I.)

We are volunteers in the sense that we do maintain huts and footpaths, provide climbing courses and cultural services without asking any hourly compensation. Only reimbursements of expenses for courses and organized tours are to be paid, while the huts overhauling expenses are covered by the rates paid by the huts managers those do finance the restructuring and ongoing expenses for the buildings, an effort strongly supported by some regional administrations under certain limited circumstances.

This makes us a reference in the Italian mountaineering context for the accommodation and medium-low level mountaineering training we offer to the wide pubblic. On the other side of this educational and accomodation capacity there is a cutting edge training of our teachers and rescue professionals, materials expertise and artistic or cultural passionate, in the middle lies our passion to diffuse and enhance the mountain experience in Italy and abroad.

We warmly invite you to come and visit our facilities and surf in our website. We are an association covering a wide range of activities, as you may notice roaming in the galleries and reports. We strongly believe as association and individuals in a way of living mountaineering that does not forget the sustainability and cultural background behind the bare muscular effort. Mountaineering is a way to traduce an effort into joy and satisfaction; through a personal attitude you already understand or will develop you own way. Although it is not only a matter of shared values: your contribution is really needed as change agent: we strive to improve ourselves thanks to the contribution of our active members.
Besides doing as said we do teach: trekking (summer&winter) and climbing (ice&rock&sportive). Joining our courses you will find persons, professionals, whose goal is to establish a personal relation, without negotiating any time the safety requirements lying underneath all our school activities.

Our Association is located in the very city center, Treviso, square "Dei Signori", 4. The secretary office is usually open on Wednesday and Friday night, from 9pm to 10:30pm. In the other days other groups could be anyway there for meeting related to their specific activities.
