The Biella hut is located at 2327m asl nearby the typical mt “Croda del Beco”, whose height is 2810m asl. The hut is the doorway to the so called “Alta Via 1”, one of the several pre-defined trips connecting the dolomites area.

Its location makes it really easy to reach thanks to a road (not  paved and closed to private cars) which brings you to the hut from the park “Malga Ra Stua”. This park is located aside the main road from Cortina to Brunico, at the left side (coming from Cortina) before a right hand hairpin bend. The road to the hut is quite obvious, do not underestimate the likehood of getting lost! It happens that people ascending in the late evening take the uncorrect way and do end up with facing the west side of mt "Croda Rossa", nice but not at 9pm....
