Guido Salton è guida alpina dal 1985 (qui il sito delle guide di Cortina), è fautore di varie vie nelle dolomiti.  Dal 1989 lavora al progetto EV-K2-CNR in nepal nel laboratorio di ricerca internazionale piramide a 5050m (qui il link al sito della piramide) nella valle del kumbu come manutentore nei periodi di fuori stagione.

Guido Salton is Alpine Guide since 1985 (here a link to the Cortina Alpine Guide committee), he has opened several new routes in the dolomites region. Since 1989 he is involved in the EV-K2-CNR project in Nepal for the developping of the international research lab pyramid ad 5050 asl into the Kumbu valley (please see here for more details). His role in this exiting adventure is to overhaul the structure in the period where the hut is out of season.
